Scott is New ILPA President

During the recent 64th Annual ILPA Convention, Todd Scott was elected President of the organization. Todd is Vice President and General Council for The River Products Company of Iowa City, IA. He has been with River Products since 1999. He also serves as Secretary for Petroleum Services Company L.L.C., Shamrock Construction Company L.L.C. and Rock Technology, subsidiaries of River Products Company.
A native of Fredricksburg, IA, Mr. Scott graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Political Science and Economics in 1991. Todd went on to study at Drake Law School and received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1996. Scott is a member of the Johnson County, the Iowa State and the American Bar Associations. He serves as the Co-Chair of the American Citizen Committee for the Sixth Judicial District of Iowa. He is also a member on various environmental and safety committees for the Iowa State Bar Association, the AGC of Iowa, NSSGA, and the ILPA.
In 2002 he was appointed by Governor Vilsack to represent the Mines and Minerals Industry on the Iowa State Soil Conservation Commission. In March of 2008 he was appointed Chair of the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association's Council of Council.
